Gifted Education Week Video- Thank You!!

We have enjoyed celebrating Gifted Education Week! Our gifted specialists have prepared a special video that shows the learning that takes place with our gifted students. We are grateful for the support of our district and community that allows us to continue to offer this level of service for students.

I love this video!  Thanks so much for sending it to me.  You made my day and you reminded me how much I value our gifted specialists, the wonderful children they serve and the many wonderful learning experiences they provide for our students.  Happy Gifted Education Week!!!

Edgar Road Powell Hall Field Trip

Edgar Road 3rd-5th grade Project Plus students took a field trip to Powell Hall. There, they learned a way to express yourself--music! Students listened to Project Trio along with the symphony.

They heard classical, hip hop, latin, and jazz music. After the visit to Powell, students were able to get a behind the scenes tour of Jazz St. Louis. Students learned about sound and production. It was a great trip!

Learning Lab challenges students academically and creatively. Students make new friends while they explore a topic in-depth and/or develop new skills. Class sizes are limited to achieve optimal student/teacher interaction.

Learning Lab has excellent teachers who are chosen for expertise in their area and their skill in working with bright students.
